The current NextMeal release includes camera capture, typed and supported on-device dictated food descriptions, on-device analysis, editable estimates, local nutrition history, and optional local sharing with NextCoach. Platform support and model availability can vary by device.
1. Development Status
The current app is functional but pre-release. Device support, model availability, product behavior, pricing, and final terms may change before public distribution.
2. Acceptance
Once released, using NextMeal will mean that you accept the then-current Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Nutrition and AI Disclaimers. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
3. Purpose
NextMeal helps users photograph, type, dictate when locally supported, or manually record meals and individual grocery foods; review editable nutrition estimates; set local daily goals; view trends from saved entries; and optionally provide minimized daily calorie and macro totals and targets to NextCoach through local device transport. It is a general wellness and organizational tool.
4. Estimates and Generated Content
Food recognition, speech transcription, spelling correction, serving size, calories, macros, fiber, sugar, sodium, ingredient lists, and generated explanations can be incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, or unsuitable. Results depend on image quality or the detail and accuracy of your description, hidden ingredients, preparation methods, serving size, device capability, language, model version, and user corrections.
NextMeal attempts to reject unreliable input, but that safeguard cannot guarantee that every accepted result is correct. Generated content is not guaranteed to be factual, safe, complete, or appropriate for your circumstances.
5. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing and correcting results before relying on or saving them. Verify ingredients, allergens, dietary restrictions, food safety, medication interactions, and health decisions through reliable sources and qualified professionals.
6. Health Integrations
The current app does not read or write HealthKit, Health Connect, or wearable data. If that functionality is introduced, separate permission and disclosure requirements will apply before release.
7. Availability
On-device camera, vision, speech-recognition, language-model, and health features depend on supported hardware, operating-system versions, downloaded models, region and language availability, permissions, battery and thermal limits, foreground-use rules, and platform-vendor services. NextCoach automatic import also depends on both apps being correctly installed and signed, the user connecting NextMeal in NextCoach, and NextCoach entering the foreground. Neither app synchronizes while terminated. NextMeal does not replace unavailable local dictation or app-to-app transport with a cloud service. A feature may be unavailable or change after a system update.
8. Ownership and Acceptable Use
You retain rights to content you lawfully provide. Do not use NextMeal to process content you do not have permission to use, bypass platform controls, harm others, or produce unlawful material. The app, branding, design, and original software remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
9. Warranty and Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NextMeal will be provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes
Terms may be updated as the product develops, laws change, or platform requirements evolve. The effective version will be made available with the released app and site.
11. Contact
The verified developer identity and support contact must be included in the official store listings before public release. Final legal review and jurisdiction-specific publisher details remain required before distribution.
