2. Nutrition Estimates
Calories, serving size, macros, micronutrients, ingredient quantities, and daily targets are estimates. A camera cannot reliably identify hidden oils, sauces, sugars, preparation methods, exact weights, brands, fortification, or all ingredients. Always review and correct values.
3. Allergens and Dietary Restrictions
Never rely on image recognition or generated text to determine whether food is free from an allergen or suitable for a dietary, religious, ethical, or medical restriction. Verify labels, packaging, preparation areas, recipes, and food-provider information directly.
4. Food Safety
NextMeal cannot determine contamination, spoilage, pathogens, safe cooking temperature, storage history, cross-contact, recalls, or whether an item is safe to eat. Follow authoritative food-safety guidance and discard food when safety is uncertain.
5. On-Device AI Limitations
On-device models can hallucinate, omit, misclassify, or vary across devices, languages, model versions, and operating-system updates. Availability is limited to supported devices and may require a system-managed model download. A confident response is not proof of accuracy.
6. Trends and Deficiency Predictions
The current seven-day view reflects only meals you saved and can be distorted by missing meals or incorrect estimates. Any future deficiency indicator will remain an estimate, not a diagnosis. Laboratory testing and professional assessment may be required.
7. Swaps and Recipes
Smart swaps and generated recipes are not included in the current app. If introduced, they may be incomplete, impractical, culturally unsuitable, unsafe, or incompatible with allergies and health needs and must be reviewed before use.
8. Health and Wearable Data
The current app does not access health or wearable data. If integration is introduced, platform records may be delayed, missing, duplicated, estimated, or recorded by another app and will not become a medical conclusion.
